Co-operative Financing with the Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund

Co-operatives often face challenges working with traditional lenders, like banks. So Canada’s largest co-ops created the Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund (CCIF) to support emerging co-ops to access the financing they need. Since its creation, CCIF has invested in dozens of new co-operatives, helping them overcome barriers to financing.

In this webinar, Kyle will be joined by Derek Ballantyne. Derek leads CCIF’s work, drawing on a 20+ year career in social financing. He will share how co-ops can work with CCIF to meet their financing goals and what to keep in mind when working with a lender.
